Driver and Vehicle Services

Changes to an NWT Driver’s Licence or General Identification Card (GIC) must be done  in-person at your driver and vehicle office.

What you need to bring:

• Your current driver’s licence
• One supporting document from each of these categories:

1. 1. Legal Name and Date of Birth (DOB)
   2. Photo ID
   3. Proof of Residency
